Chapter 7 : Knowledge of Absolute truth

7.1 The lord Shri Krishna said , listen o partha, how with mind attached to me and practicing yoga in full consciousness, how you can understand me completely without doubt

7.2 I will now declare both Phenomenal (something reachable by the senses) and numinous (spiritual or supernatural) knowledge without holding anything back. On understanding of this there won’t be anything else to be understood or known.

7.3 Among many thousands of men, one may strive for perfection and among those who attain perfection only a very rare soul knows me (lord Krishna) completely

  In this world there are lot of scholars who try to attain perfection and they do succeed in understanding Brahma and ParaBrahma. However only those following bhakti yoga or true devotees  are able to understand Omnipotence ( state of god), opulence (wealth), renunciation (act of abandoning ).

7.4 Air,Water, Fire, Earth, Ether (sky), mind, intellect and false ego are eight of my lower material energy

 Air, Water, Fire, earth and Ether are considered as Gross creations. Five senses viz, sound,touch,form,taste and smell are situated in these gross creations. Where as Mind, Intellect and false ego are subtle energies. Together these 8 constitute material energy

7.5 Additionally there is also higher energy including living entities who exploit lower material energy

 So basically living entities belong to superior nature or energy of god. Cosmic balance and equilibrium is possible due to living entities or superior nature. But living entities while exploiting lower material energy forget about the supreme power of Lord Krishna and get busy in enjoying materialistic things. Only those are able to free themselves from lower material nature can reach mukti.
